Allan Amato, the fancy shmancy celeb photographer from LA, told us about his insane plan to get 50+ artists to all contribute work to a book and gallery show, and maybe a documentary and video podcast. He didn’t have a timeline, and he didn’t have a budget. What he did have is a small group of people already willing to put in their best efforts to contribute time and art to make this a reality. He needed more people, and someone to help him produce the project. Of course we said yes.

A year later, the Kickstarter campaign crowdsourced over $80k, the gallery show had a smash opening at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, the gorgeous book has been printed, and the documentary has been filmed and in final edits. Not too shabby. Check out the Temple of Art Website for more info and clips from the documentary.
